Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian, and be able to form a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. What the Service does — and does not do

Popped! analyses images with automated forensic checks and machine-learning models and returns an indication of whether an image appears Original, Photoshopped or AI-generated, with supporting information.

• Results are probabilistic screening signals, not legal, forensic or expert certification. They can be wrong in both directions.
• Do not take an adverse decision about a person — refusing a refund, rejecting a candidate, denying a claim, reporting fraud — solely on a Popped! result. Use it to decide what deserves a human review.
• We do not verify who took a photo, when or where, beyond what the image itself shows.

3. Your content

You keep all rights in the images you upload. You grant us only a temporary, limited licence to process each image in memory to produce your result. We do not store your images or use them to train models.

You confirm that you have the right to submit each image and that doing so does not violate any law or anyone's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Business API

• API access requires an account and API key. Keep your key confidential; you are responsible for all usage under it.
• Fees: ₹1 per photo check unless your order form or plan says otherwise, plus applicable GST. Usage is metered by successful checks.
• We may apply rate limits and fair-use limits to protect the Service. Uptime commitments, if any, apply only when stated in a signed order form.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Our intellectual property and open-source components

The Service, its software, design and brand are owned by Popped! or its licensors. The Service incorporates third-party open-source models and software used under their licences (including Apache-2.0 and MIT); those licences continue to govern those components.

You may not copy, resell or frame the Service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use its outputs to build a competing detection service.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including accuracy, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. See also our Disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Popped! is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you have not paid any fees. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify Popped! against claims arising from images you submit, your breach of these Terms or your misuse of results.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access that breaches these Terms, endangers the Service or other users, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact our Grievance Officer first — most issues can be resolved quickly.
